				From raw material to complete regalia, our specialist machinery, twists, warps, weaves, ply's and plaits all types of textile accoutrement for uniformed forces.Our staff are skilled in all aspects of component assembly, all in house trained, often by a parent. We have instances of three generations in simultaneous employment.

	Our company is in its 40th year of same family management at Bridgehouse Mill (right) in the Bronte village of Haworth and its 150th year since being founded in Coventry as ribbon weavers. We maintain a continuing program of modernisation and methods. We are accredited to ISO 9001:2000 which ensures adherence to high quality standards of production and administration.

			Our customers are Government Defence and Procurement Departments in the United Kingdom and overseas. We Supply uniform tailors and police, fire and civil uniformed services in addition to intermediary agencies throughout the world. More specialist outlets include Museums, historical re-enactment Societies and the film and Performing arts industries.

This website illustrates a Selection of our manufactured items but our machinery and skills are capable or reproducing almost any textile accoutrement or narrow fabric small ware. In the past we have made false eyelashes for camels (mosquito deterrent for the Jordan Arab Army Cavalry camels), touch cord (ignition for cannon gun salutes) and mummy binding (dead bodies).
